On Thursday evening, September 27, 2007, to coincide with the National Preparedness Month, the American Red Cross Lower Bucks County Chapter has scheduled a special ceremony at the Friends and Family Pizza Buffet, 5:30 PM at Pizza Buffet’s location of 2669 Durham Rd in Bristol.

The Friends and Family Pizza Buffet has conducted a special Monday evening promotion for the past three months to benefit the American Red Cross’ local programs and services.  With the campaign now over, we are proud to announce that the total amount raised from this 90 day effort is $1,210.00.  This type of business and non-profit partnership is growing with events like “Dining for Disaster” held annually in March and other activities.

At the ceremony, Kathleen Marsh, Chief Executive Officer of the Lower Bucks County Chapter will accept the gift from Ken Kovalik, President of Friends and Family Pizza Buffet.  Also scheduled to attend the ceremony are William Bustard, Executive Vice President, Dave Dolnick, Vice President, Barbara Barras, Director of Operations, Josh Kovalik, Director of Marketing, along with Chris Greenland, Store Manager, and three Assistant Managers; Holly Beauleu, Trisha Darr and Dave Rollins.  John Majane, Director of Major Gifts for the local Red Cross Chapter stated, “It is a pleasure to see more and more community minded organizations like Friends and Family Pizza in the area.  We hope that this summer’s campaign will be the first step in a long relationship.  People like Dave Dolnick and his associates are a positive force in our local area.”
