Communityt Class Schedule     Corporate       Course Descriptions  AEDs

 

  1. Workplace Training:  Standard First Aid: Provides individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course includes Adult CPR/AED and First Aid Basics. Successful completion results in CPR certification valid for 1 year and First Aid certification valid for 3 years.
    6 hour course - $60.00 per person, 6 minimum


  2. Adult CPR/AED: Teaches participants how to recognize the signals of a heart attack, checking the victim, performing rescue breathing, when to call 911, and CPR, and how to use an AED. Successful completion results in CPR certification valid for 1 year.               
    3 hour course- $45.00 per person
    , 6 minimum

  3. Adult CPR Recertification:  This course is for holders of a current adult CPR certificate who have a current adult CPR Skill card. Re-certification valid for 1 year.
    3 hour course- $35.00 per person, 6 minimum

  4. Community CPR: Teaches how to care for adults, infants, and children in cardiac or respiratory emergency situations; includes AED training. Successful completion results in CPR certification for 1 year.
    5 hour course- $50.00 per person    6 minimum    
    Add First Aid
    :  7 hour course:  $60.00/person

  5. First Aid Basics: Teaches how to care for injuries such as cuts, burns, sprains, fractures, as well as heat & cold emergencies.  Successful candidate certified in First Aid Basics for 3 years.
    3.5 hour course - $45.00 per person, 6 minimum

  6. Workplace Training – Modules: These units allow the client to customize training to meet the specific needs of the workplace. (most classes are about 1 hour long)
    Blood Borne Pathogens:  Prevention of disease transmission:  Trains employees to minimize exposure to infectious  materials with a focus on Hepatitis B and HIV risks. OHSA requirement for workplace first response teams. 1.5 hours.
    Slips, Trips, and Falls: Trains individuals to recognize and reduce the risk of these injuries.
    Violence Awareness:    Gives individuals the knowledge necessary to identify and reduce the risk of workplace violence.
    Stress Management: Identifies ways to manage stressful situations including personal strategies for managing stress.
    1-2 hour course (each) $15.00 per person/module       6 student/minimum

Add a workplace module to any other program for only $10.00/ person
