Donating blood is personal and really matters. To help make the world a better place, donate blood. Donating blood actually helps to save lives. These are reasons why ordinary people donate blood. You can trust that the American Red Cross will provide blood whenever it is needed. The need for blood is growing. Every two seconds someone needs blood. Your involvement with the American Red Cross will help meet the needs of patients in Bucks County hospitals. The Red Cross provides blood to everyone who needs it...automatically, equally, fully, whether or not they themselves

are able to donate. The American Red Cross collects blood donations and provides services to 130 hospitals throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including Bucks County. You can help in three ways:

  • Blood Drive Sponsor: Position your business as a community leader by letting the Red Cross help your company or organization sponsor and coordinate one or more blood drives per year.
  • Blood Drive Recruitment: Take a leadership position by encouraging your customers, clients and vendors to sponsor Red Cross blood drives.
  • Blood Donor: Lead your community in meeting patient needs by donating blood. Commit to providing a donation every 56 days.
